CBI For Sushant Singh Rajput: Himansh Kohli Says, 'I Request Judiciary To Give Strict Punishment If Its A Murder'- EXCLUSIVE
Here's what Himansh Kohli has to say about the recent development in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case
The Supreme court's decision in late actor Sushant Singh Rajput's case has got people applauding the legal system. A lot of actors from the industry were urging for a CBI inquiry and now after the verdict has come out in their favour, they are extremely happy. After Arjun Bijlani, now Bollywood actor Himansh Kohli has shared his thoughts on the decision with us.
Talking to SpotboyE.com exclusively, Himansh not only praised the SC decision but also requested for a strict punishment if it's a murder. "A much awaited order finally comes from the Hon'ble SC. The entire nation was waiting for the CBI to probe into the case and bring the truth forward. It's a really good progress and this will instill faith in the system. Now, no one can make false allegations, or try to take the narrative away from the truth. I really hope this closes soon and the long-due justice is served. And I urge the judiciary to give the strictest possible punishment if it's actually a murder, to set an example, so that no one tries to hurt anyone again. The nation wants full justice for sushant, nothing less!" ALSO READ: 'Sushant Singh Rajput Was Pissed Off': Actor's Flatmate Samuel Haokip Confirms His Argument With Sister Priyanka Singh- EXCLUSIVE
On June 14, Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Bandra residence and immediately after the news broke out, pictures of his deceased body went viral. That day also Himansh took to his twitter to condemon that act and tweeted, "I have been noticing a lot of people posting pictures of the deceased #SushantSinghRajput. I highly condemn this. Let's share happy thoughts and cherish the memories of the person, rather than showing such disturbing pictures. Please show respect, #SushantSingh deserves it!! In his multiple tweets he had also requested people to open up about their mental health as at that time reports suggested that the actor killed himself out of depression. Himansh had written, "TALK AND OPEN UP! I'd urge everyone to please be extra kind and sensitive, you don't know who's hurting with what issue. I hope there never will be another Sushant, suffering alone. It's high time we take mental health seriously. I know many of us might suffer silently sometimes, so that our loved ones don't have to carry our burden. But, we forget that we put our loved ones in greater worry by hiding things. Distantness is the worst thing you can do to yourself and the people who love you. It's so hard to believe! #SushantSinghRajput was a very hard working and talented actor. To see him go like this, is very painful. I understand that there might be a lot of problems in an actor's life — financial, emotional, people troll you for every little thing, etc. But, quitting is not the way. Please speak up and talk to your close ones/professionals whenever required. I pray for his peaceful afterlife; heartfelt condolences to the family, friends and innumerable fans. #RIPSSR #RIPSushant ".
